Introduction

DMC Software Solutions is the number one Sage Business Partner for Sage Customer Relationship Management Software specialising in ACT! Sage CRM MME and SalesLogix CRM. The company provides integrated solutions for front and back office applications. DMC Software Solutions is part of the DMC Group of Companies, operating nationally across the UK and Europe.

The Business Challenge

DMC Software Solutions needed a search marketing company that understood its business. The company had carried out some in-house search engine optimisation (SEO) and pay per click (PPC) activity in the past but needed the expertise of a web marketing specialist to increase its performance online. DMC Software Solutions needed to attract quality visits using keywords and phrases that related to its business and were currently being used by potential customers.

Appointing WebCertain

WebCertain had a very good understanding of the business, and during initial discussions was able to demonstrate how its approach to SEO and PPC would improve visits and ultimately new business leads. 

Planning the Campaigns and Agreeing the Solution

WebCertain carried out a complete review of DMC Solution’s Web site and measured the effectiveness of its existing SEO and PPC  campaigns. Whilst the results were satisfactory, WebCertain was able to implement changes that would dramatically increase results. WebCertain rolled out a PPC campaign using Google Adwords targeting specifically the generation of leads for accountancy software. It uses keywords and phrases based on search volumes and keyword competitiveness.

The Results

The campaign is a great success. From January 2005 until January 2007 – when the results were released DMC Software Solutions has seen a 1,400% increase in the number of visitors from search engines (organic listings). Sales leads from these visits have increased dramatically as a result.
